The brief
We were commissioned to construct five new build bungalows on the Norfolk coast.
The solution
The Construction Co constructed five new build bungalows on the Norfolk coast on behalf of ‘The Geoffrey Watling Trust’. The location of the sites was within an existing small estate and therefore required extensive logistics and consideration to the adjacent tenants. Over a period of 2 years and with staged completion dates these traditionally built 2-bed bungalows were constructed. The properties required a substantial amount of groundworks due to their location and new water, electrical and sewerage connections. Roof trusses were designed and manufactured by Read Brothers for a faster on-site installation process.
Two of the new-build properties were sold by the client prior to their individual completion dates. This allowed the new owners to request additional works and finishes to their property that we designed and completed before the keys were handed over.
