Full refurbishment of restaurant, breakfast room and bar areas.
The solution
The Construction Co worked closely in conjunction with the hotel for the refurbishment of the restaurant and bar. Due to the scale of the project a temporary facility was created within the hotel allowing full access. The refurbishment incorporated flood defence works to the front elevation of the hotel, new wall and ceiling features incorporating a complete lighting scheme.
The Construction Co designed, managed and completed an extensive overhaul of the restaurant and bar areas within the hotel complex. We liaised with the Hotels director and specialist design consultants to create a fresh interior that was sympathetic to the surrounding hotel’s internal decorations. The project was completed using the hotels retained team of construction-related companies that included electricians, joiners, decorators, plumbing, heating and ourselves.
Due to the limited time period on site to complete the works, all elements had to be comprehensively pre-planned and acquired ready for installation on-site when required. Carrying out these works allowed TCC to complete some necessary additional waterproof tanking works to the front walls of the hotel. These had been done as an upgrade and precaution to the original quayside external walls.
A temporary restaurant and breakfast room had to be created in the hotel’s function rooms for this period to service the hotel’s guests.
