Design, consultation and installation of new functional main bathroom.
Full design, consultation and installation of new functional main bathroom to unique room in a traditional small cottage.
The initial brief from the client was for us to create a traditional looking bathroom with the incorporation of a modern walk-in shower as part of the refurbishment of their period properties main bathroom. We undertook the full design responsibilities to incorporate their requests to a varying and confined space with sloping ceilings.
Initial works required for us to remove the original bathroom. Following this, we were required to install soundproofing workings on the adjoining party wall. This would help in the future to minimalise any sound transfer through the original solid brick wall and visa-versa. During the project we were able to alter the layout of the room and form additional storage space from an adjacent room to the clients approval. The client went on to choose the tiles that were to be used in the shower cubicle. We advised and installed half height panelling to the remainder of the room to retain character to the room and this elegantly finished the room to a high standard.
