The creation of a two storey detached 4 bedroom home from ground up to internal finishing.

What we did:

This property was second of two properties to be completed on the site of an old petrol filling station. Given the usage of the existing site, both properties had protective gas membranes installed by external specialist as requirement of building on an old filling station.

We completed the full build contract of this new high specification property. We worked alongside the client and the architect to get the best possible mutual solutions. We also used various trades to complete this new build, including managing specialist trades to complete the build to the high specification it warranted.

We compiled construction layout plans for the kitchen, utility and bathrooms so all tradesmen could envisage the finished room. We worked alongside and managed a selection of specialist tradesmen who had all been contracted for their area of expertise. An example of this would be the specialist plumbing subcontractor that installed a full ground floor under floor heating system. This included the installation of floor insulation and preparation of service pipes prior to final floor screening.

The completed house consisted of 4 substantial bedrooms, with two of them having their own en-suite. This was in addition to a main bathroom and downstairs WC. All work and finishes in the property were completed to a high specification.

We managed and ordered all components of the build. We worked alongside the client in helping them and advising them which was the best product to go for and helping them realise their vision. During the construction process the internal ground floor layout was altered by the client after initial services installation. This was all adapted to suit the new requirements.

As well as constructing the house, we completed the hard landscaping in the front and back garden, with our landscaping and groundworks team completing an attractive driveway to a high quality finish. We complied with health and safety requirements throughout the whole job and considered ourselves to be very approachable for the client at all times.
