Removal of existing conservatory and construction of two new separate single storey rear extensions. These included a new conservatory, extension to dining room, garden room and shower room. The Construction Co also completed internal refurbishment works at the client’s request.
The Construction Co were successfully awarded the tender to create two new rear extensions at this property. The client had appointed local architect David Aldridge to design a scheme to suit their requirements. This saw the replacement of an existing conservatory, extension of the dining room area and formed a separate new garden room and ground floor bathroom. Before all these works could begin, some rear garden landscaping work had to be addressed. Due to the location of the property on a steep hill, the rear garden has a significant raising gradient. A new retaining wall had to be formed adjacent to one of the rear extensions before any groundworks could begin.
Upon completion of the new extensions and conservatory, we needed to expand an external wall window opening to form a new larger opening to allow the dining room to expand into one section of the new extension. We were also asked by the client to carry out some additional works while we were on site as an addition to the contract. These ranged from a new section of garden fencing, the sanding and staining of their ground floor timber floorboards, external drainage replacements and some minor electrical alterations. As all works were located outside of the main house structure we were able to complete with very minimal disruption to the clients living arrangements.
I will like to recommend the Construction Company to whoever are searching for a building firm to construct their building projects. Jason and his team have done a great job in completing my extension on time and within budget. The workers were efficient and friendly, keeping the disruption to the minimum. They organised the site very well, and communicated effectively with us and our neighbours. We did not receive any complaints from our neighbours.
